Homelessness at any point during the pre- or postnatal period can have a very negative impact on a young child’s health, according to a new study published in the journal Pediatrics.
The findings show that infants who experienced both pre- and post-natal homelessness and those who experienced homelessness for longer than six months are at greatest risk of negative health outcomes.
