Residents of For-Profit Nursing Homes May Face Greater Risk of Neglect

Older adults living in for-profit nursing homes may face nearly double the risk of developing health issues linked to substandard care compared with residents living in not-for-profit facilities or in homes in the community, according to a new study published in the journal Gerontology.
